Cision: Times Square Takeover

Large stages with bigger audiences, and all we wanted to do was make a bit of a splash at an annual conference while still showcasing the space that the client is in. Resulting in this lofty anthemic video that drew the crowd in before the CEO took the stage.

Summary

To highlight Groks recent rebranding of the media analytics giant Cision they decided to feature their new colors and identity by taking over a few of Time Squares massive boards (Reuters and Nasdaq to be exact) ; along with a month long spot at the ABC board also in the square.

Process

To highlight Groks recent rebranding of the media analytics giant Cision they decided to feature their new colors and identity by taking over a few of Time Squares massive boards (Reuters and Nasdaq to be exact) ; along with a month long spot at the ABC board also in the square.

Given that we had been working on the identity heavily over the past few months , we knew exactly which elements we wanted to showcase. After that was completed and ran through QA for the screens we began preparation for documenting the takeover so it can be showcased to the entirety of the Cision community.

We captured each of the boards from multiple angles to create what you saw above, which was distributed through internal communications at Cision as well as featured on their brand pages.

Overall this was a small but very shiny part of the Cision rebranding effort before their eventual IPO in 2017.
